Terms of Service

1. Services
Begnal offers bespoke tailoring services by private appointment in Oslo, Norway. All garments are made to order based on individual client measurements and specifications. By booking a consultation or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Custom Orders
All garments are custom made. Due to the bespoke nature of our work, each order is unique and produced exclusively for the individual client. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on completed custom garments unless there is a demonstrable error in construction or a significant deviation from agreed specifications.
3. Consultations
Initial consultations are complimentary. Consultations are held by appointment only at our Oslo atelier. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel appointments at our discretion. Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule.
4. Payment
A deposit of 50% of the total order value is required to begin production. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the garment prior to delivery. We accept bank transfer and card payment. All prices are quoted in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include applicable taxes.
5. Production Timeline
Standard production time is 2–4 weeks from the date of confirmation and receipt of deposit. Timelines may vary depending on order complexity and material availability. We will communicate any significant changes to agreed timelines as soon as possible.
6. Alterations
Minor alterations following the final fitting are included in the price of the garment. Alterations requested after delivery that fall within the scope of the original specifications will be assessed individually. Alterations due to significant changes in client measurements after the garment is completed may incur additional charges.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, patterns, photographs and content produced by Begnal remain the intellectual property of Begnal. No content may be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Begnal's liability is limited to the value of the garment in question. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of income or any consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Oslo District Court.
